Girls Tryouts 2026

Our tryouts are designed to assess skill levels, player attitude, game knowledge base, athletes’ strengths and weaknesses. We incorporate Passing, Serving, Hitting and Scrimmage to evaluators how players perform under the pressure of a game situation. We are not expecting athletes to be perfect. A coachable, positive and hard working player is what we are looking for.

Please see the document below for estimated season dues and tournament schedule. Please note there are no hidden fees not listed. Players are also eligible for discounts and fee reductions with fundraising, sponsorship and scholarships. More info on that on our Financial Aid page.

FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE WITH SEASON DUES

The Boltz Volleyball club offers several ways to help fund your club volleyball season. Our mission is to provide athletes with technical skills training and tactical instruction in a positive learning environment that fosters personal growth, development and a passion for the game of volleyball. We strive to offer high end coaching, training and conditioning at affordable pricing so athletes of all socioeconomic backgrounds have access to the training they need in order to reach their athletic goals.

PLEASE PRINT OFF ALL FORMS AND COMPLETE. MAKE 2 COPIES OF MEDICAL RELEASE FORM ON TRYOUT DAY AND SUBMIT AT CHECK-IN. (COPY 1-BOLTZ FILES, COPY 2-COACHES FOLDER FOR PROOF WHEN PLAYING)

BIRTH CERTIFICATE IS NO LONGER REQUIRED. YOU MUST UPLOAD ON USAV REGISTRATION WEBSITE WHEN GETTING MEMBERSHIP.

ON TRYOUT DAY:

  • PARENTS BE PREPARED TO MAKE PAYMENT FOR COMMITMENT FEE ONCE YOUR PLAYERS IS ASSIGNED A TEAM.
  • AT LEAST ONE PARENT IS NEEDED AT THE END OF TRYOUTS FOR PAPERWORK SIGNING.

NEW RULES REGARDING PRIVATE LESSONS DURING EVALUATIONS/OPEN HOUSES

Private lessons are restricted during the Open House/Evaluation period for each applicable age group. No private lessons may be held for a player in the age group of the Open House/Evaluation period in effect. The “private lessons” were being abused by clubs to organize teams before tryouts and were also keeping kids from being able to attend other Open House sessions.

Any coach found in violation will result in the affiliated club being fined $300 per person, per event. If the coach is unaffiliated at the time, the club which hires them will be fined.
